Freshwater Ichthyology - particularly niche partitioning and behavior

I am currently working on research regarding diet overlap and microhabitat use in native benthic fishes (mainly darters) and a newly introduced invasive species (Round Goby) in the French Creek Watershed

I am also interested in amphibian research with regard to habitat fragmentation and degradation and overall population declines.

Lastly, in the courses that I teach we work on real world and local conservation issues, many times in streams or surrounding forests.
